Algebrawl allows students develop their newly acquired algebra skills through engaging head-to-head matchups in your classroom
"Algebra tells us something about human nature and understanding. Algebra is our students’ first exposure to what mathematics is. It offers students the sort of critical thinking about mathematical ideas that simply doesn’t come with the computation skills of early school math"

When beginning algebra students play Algebrawl in your classroom, they will:
- Reinforce the expression-manipulation skills you've taught them
- Master the order of operations to defeat their opponent
- Come to see the algebraic expression as a dynamic structure that can be shaped
Algebrawl is a two-person card game where players use numbers and operators (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to manipulate an algebraic expression. The red player tries to complicate the expression with as many operators as possible, and the blue player attempts to simplify the expression down to isolate the variable.
